Are SATs Cancelled forever?
SAT subject tests, also known as SAT IIs, were permanently canceled by the College Board on Jan. 19. Students who signed up for examinations held through the end of this academic school year will no longer be able to take the exam.
Is SAT online or paper 2021?
The SAT is a paper-based test administered at schools and sites around the country on select dates throughout the year. Students are allowed to take the test as many times as they want; most universities will only look at the highest score or the super-score (a combination of the highest sections).
Is phonics screening 2021 Cancelled?
In the 2020 to 2021 academic year, the national curriculum assessments, including the phonics screening check, were cancelled. Cancellation of the phonics screening check in June 2021 means incoming year 2 pupils did not take the check in year 1.

What are the different types of SATS?

What is SATs week and when are the SATs held?
“SATs week” is when all KS2 SATs tests take place across the UK. For KS1 SATs, schools are granted the flexibility of administering them at a time that’s convenient to them throughout the whole of May 2020.
When should I use the KS2 SATs papers?
When these papers are used they should simply be seen as a good benchmark of progress. If children do very well then they are on track to do well in their KS2 SATS, if children do not perform at the top end then they may benefit from more help. Threshold and Grade Boundaries (really only useful for teachers use)
