Netherstorm is a zone that is heavily dependent on quest lines provided by one or the other faction. To get started with the quests provided by either the Aldor or Scryers you will want to visit Khadgar in Shattrath City and pick up the quest “City of Light”.
How much rep do you get from Netherstorm quests?
All quests completed in Netherstorm @ level 70 will yield approximately 1400 to 1600g (that includes the group quests). Most prominent reputation gained is with the Consortium. Just below that would be Aldor or Scryer depending on which faction you chose.
Do you need flying to Quest in Netherstorm?
To start this quest chain, head to Area 52 in Netherstorm to pick up Consortium Crystal Collection and complete as much of the quest as you can, before reaching the part where you need a flying mount!

The Netherstorm is now locked in a constant magical storm bleeding from the Twisting Nether, further deteriorating the land. Magical lightning arcs within a thick haze of violet cloud and bands of pure magical energy wrap their way across the sky. Some of its wild creatures include nether rays, mana wyrms, and colossi.

There are three ways to gain reputation with the Sha’tar:
- Hand in items to gain reputation with the Aldor or Scryer (until Honored)
- Complete quests that grant Sha’tar Reputation (until Exalted)
- Kill monsters in Mechanar, Botanica, or Arcatraz (until Exalted)
Which Sha tar dungeon gives the most rep?
Alternatively, the dungeons The Botanica, The Mechanar, and The Arcatraz all grant reputation up to Exalted. The Mechanar tends to be the fastest of the three dungeons and can be run repeatedly on Normal difficulty.
