Loveland Valley is a separate base area with gentle slopes perfect for newcomers. If you are comfortable with your skiing and riding abilities, you will want to head to Loveland Basin. Here you will find the majority of Loveland’s terrain suitable for all abilities.
How long does it take a 5 year old to learn to ski?
In general, the magic age for skiing is closer to 5. If given the chance, and at least three consecutive days of learning, a kid around 4.5 to 5 years old may be able to get the basics of listening, turning, stopping and managing the lifts enough to get out of the ski school corral and onto the wide-open green runs.
Are private ski lessons worth it?
Ski and snowboarding lessons are definitely worth it! However, you’ll be hoppy to know that there are ways to save money with ski lessons. Taking lessons can also help you avoid the lift lines. More experienced skiers may take advanced lessons to build skills or tackle a new challenge.
Do you need a reservation for Eldora?
As of August 2021, there are no plans to continue requiring parking reservations at Eldora for the 2021/22 Winter Season, and we anticipate all parking to be first-come, first-served for the duration of the season.
Can you snow tube at Eldora?

Is Eldora parking first come first served?

New this season, as mandated by Boulder County, single-occupancy vehicles will be required to pay $10 per vehicle on all Saturdays, Sundays, and during holiday periods.
