I wouldn’t be surprised if Tsum Tsums fade out within the next few years and face the same unfortunate fate as Vinylmations. They’re already on the decline, probably for the same reason as Vinylmations. All good things come to an end; Vinylmations are dead and that’s okay.

Vinylmation was first introduced in July 2008, and the first figures were introduced in November 2008. After a surge of releases between 2010 and 2014, the toy line began to decline around 2015, and is no longer in production.

Vinylmation was in development for approximately a year and a half with the first Vinylmation figure introduced being a blank, white Create-Your-Own figure, which was released on November 7, 2008 at the annual Festival of the Masters event held in the Downtown Disney Area at Walt Disney World Resort.
Can you still trade Vinylmations at Disney World?
As a fellow collector of Vinylmations, I’m happy to share with you that they can still be purchased throughout different locations at Walt Disney World. While you may still purchase Vinylmations, the trading of them is no longer being offered at stores and resorts.
