Digital Combat Simulator, or DCS, is a free-to-play combat flight simulation game developed primarily by Eagle Dynamics and The Fighter Collection.
What plane comes with DCS?
DCS World launched in 2008 and is a free-to-play flight simulation platform with two flyable planes: the American TF-51 Mustang and Russian Su-25T. Additional modules are sold at roughly the same price as a stand-alone AAA game, and feature aircraft from World War II to the present day — even helicopters.

What are the starter planes in DCS?
If you are interested in any of the following aircraft these could be suitable, but motivation is the most important thing:
- P-51.
- F-86.
- F-5.
- A-10C (really complex systems, but good tutorials and it is easy to fly).
- F/A-18C (complex systems but easy to fly / fly by wire; carrier stuff adds complexity for new flyer)
Can I play DCS offline?
To transfer DCS to offline mode, click on the button in the top panel of the main menu. This can be done ONLY after successful authorization. You cannot enable Offline mode unless you have an internet connection first.
