Tentacruel finds its niche as a utility Pokemon on rain teams. Tentacruel’s access to Rapid Spin allows it to support Pokemon that are weak to Stealth Rock such as Tornadus, Thundurus-T, and Volcarona as well as any grounded Pokemon that gets worn down quickly by Spikes.
