They are intended to enable young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities to achieve sustainable, paid employment by equipping them with the skills they need for work through learning in the workplace.
How is Project Search funded?
Source of Funding Sponsors student interns to support skills training and job development. (This is true in many states; however, some states will not fund skills training for young adults still in high school). State/Federal funding – Student interns must be eligible for Vocational Rehabilitation.

Who is eligible to participate in project search?

All participants must be eligible for services with the Wisconsin Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR). At some sites, young adults who have completed high school may be eligible to participate in Project SEARCH.
