The B500 & B402 are the same size & weight & have exactly the same discharge time (14 seconds) & are both ABC rated. The B500 uses the older Amerex ABC powder recharge while the B402 uses a newer Amerex ABC powder formulation which was developed to give the 5 lb size an uprated UL rating, from 2A:10B:C to 3A:40B:C.

The agent cylinder must be hydrostatically tested every 12 years to the test pressure indicated on the nameplate. Visually inspect the pressure gauge: If bent, damaged or improper gauge, depressurize and replace.
