Where do you buy your Xtreme bullets?
They are a dream to handle when reloading. I buy boxes of Xtreme Bullets at Phillips Wholesale in Covina California. Empty boxes are put to use by a friend who collects \\ cleans \\ sells brass. I use Starline brass, CCI SPP primers and Alliant Unique powder.
What type of Bullet do you load in your extreme 124?
I load Extreme 124gr bullets and I follow the Hodgdon reloading advice which is to use Lead bullet loads for plated bullets. I use 4.0gr of Titegroup which chrono’s at 1100 FPS. If you are trying to load to IDPA or USPSA minor power factor you can probably go down to 3.8gr. Also if you might want to try the 147gr 9MM bullets.
What velocities can I run your copper plated bullets at?
Our Copper Plated Bullets can be run at mid-range jacketed velocities or higher end lead velocities. We recommend keeping velocities to less than 1500 FPS (Feet Per Second) and using only a light taper crimp Any velocities over 1200 FPS we recommend either our Heavy Plate Concave Base or Hollow Point products for superior accuracy.
